On July 7, 1930, construction of the Hoover Dam begins. Today in History: 1930 Building of Hoover Dam begins Spark! What is the best way of enabling Office 365 2FA? We are looking at enabling it across our organization. There are DOZENS of them one in every language on earth.all of which are found in the PWRMGRV: FR for French, IT for Italian, JP for Japanese, etc.īut, finally.then I'll shut up until at least ONE more person chimes in.isn't it likely that even if you/we/I were to delete the entire PWRMGR folder.there still has to be SOMETHING in the "boot" files that ASKS FOR.LOOKS FOR the DLL? And isn't it THAT file that we want to kill? PWMTR64V.DLL file.and that it "worked".i.e. (and by the way, for those of you who deleted the The only thing IN IT (at least on MY Ideapad, running Win 10 Home) seems to be a whole whack of Power Mgr files. Since everyone agrees that the error message that pops up when the Control Panel on a Lenovo freezes (when accessed in Win 10 and sometimes in other OS's).and it seems many people are having some luck eliminating this error when they delete certain Power Manager DLL's in the SWTOOLS folder (home of Lenovo's bloatware), wouldn't it make sense to ditch the entire SWTOOLS folder? This forum seems to be dead, anyway.but I'll ask one more question, then I'm off to more lively turf: Not trying to be a dick, but, any chance we can stay on topic? So, I'm looking for a way to get rid of this error without involving a Window change. Holy crappoly!! (Not to mention I've read all over the place that people who do the downgrade thingy lose lots of "little things" that they can never retrieve. I had a "guru" on one of Lenovo's support forums send me what he thought was the "original" power manager for my PC so I could RE-load it then try UNinstalling it again (the "proper" way, using Revo uninstaller or the like).but, ALAS, I too had upgraded to Win 10 in the meantime.so, then he said, "Well, looks like you'll have to downgrade to Win7.put the powermanager back on.then uninstall it.then RE-UPgrade to Win10. I too have been plagued ever since with the same "An error occurred while loading resource DLL".in a little error box labelled "Power Manager"ģ. I too decided long ago just to uninstall the Lenovo Power Manager and "survive" with the Windows built-in systemĢ. Is there any reason to believe that the same Power Manager might be the one I have/had on my Lenovo IDEApad V570?ġ.
